Times Flyin'

What a couple of weeks!! Blogging has been completely absent in my life. I've missed sharing about my wonderful family. What my husband calls my hobby, is what I call a job, CRAFTING. At first, I just started to make things for my kids, and as gifts for friends having babies, or with little babies. It has turned into such a great job. I am always bringing in orders, and contributing to my families green bank :) Lately, I have been so busy, that is all I am doing is making orders for others.

News about the family....

Bradley: Bradley has been doing everything the same pretty much. He has been such a blessing around the house, just helping out where the help is needed. And of course, golfing as much as I will let him :)

Nicole: I have just been working, and keeping house as best I can. I have also started watching our friends son Wyatt two days a week. It has been so much fun so far! His mom always says that he is high maintenance, but I don't think so.

:)
Gregory: Gregory has definitely hit the TERRIBLE 2s. He walks around the house pointing his finger at whoever he is mad at and saying, "NO, STOP IT!" He also thinks it is funny (mostly when we are in the car) to put his fingers in his ears and scream as loud as possible. He almost always gets in trouble, after I hide my face and get a quick laugh in. It is so hard to get angry at him, because I think everything he does is the cutest thing ever! Gregory has also started saying the blessing before dinner, and his prayers before bed. The best part about this, is that we don't usually have to "prompt" him. At dinner, sticks his hand out and says,"Hold hand." So we hold his hand, start him  off with "Thank you God," and then he finishes with what he is thankful for that day. It varies from day to day, but it is precious! Gregory is doing great on potty training. Today, he went all day in his big boy underwear without having an accident, until about 3:45 this afternoon. I was so proud of him. He always told me when he had to go. The biggest news in Gregory's life is that he gets to start weekday school at our church 2 days a week starting next week! We have been prepping like crazy.

Addison: Not too much has been going on with our precious little girl. She is 8 months old now, and hitting all of her milestones on time, if not early. She is crawling everywhere, following me all around the house. She is also pulling up on everything. 2 weeks ago, she let go and stood up for about 10 seconds with no assistance. WHAT A BIG GIRL!!! I am so proud of her, if only she would get her first tooth....

Birthday Present in Progress

Today we spent part of the morning taking pictures of the kids. My dad is always telling me I never give him pictures, so I decided our gift to him for his birthday will be pictures of the kids on a Harley in all Harley gear. The day started off good, but right about the time we started taking pictures Addison got super fussy and Gregory just didn't want to look at the camera. I am happy with a few pictures that are of just Addison, but none of Gregory. We will definitely have round 2 of Harley pictures coming up either this week or next week.

Addison was in her dressing room :) pre-picture taking drinking her  bottle just lounging around. What a DIVA!!!

Gregory would not do anything today! Look at the look on his face! He was not a happy camper because he wasn't playing in one of PaPa's cars.

Addison loves Grandma and Grandpa! If only she would have looked at the camera at the appropriate time. That's okay, one day she will!

Sunday with the Sijanskys

We love it when the Sijanksys’ come over!
I got some of the best pictures of Gregory and Jackson on Sunday. We can never seem to get great pictures of the two of them together. This past Wednesday Gregory had a play date with LaBelle, Daxton, and Wyatt. Gregory and LaBelle always hold hands. So Sunday, Gregory wanted to hold Jackson's hand when we were leaving to go to the pool. I caught it, and they both were looking.

We didn't stay but about 30 minutes because it was so humid! Can't wait to go again. The kids (that includes Adam and Bradley) always have so much fun!

a LONG week

Well, it's been a very long week. I mean from last Monday up until now. So much stuff has been happening. The main thing being I have had so many bow orders!

Gregory is CRAZY! He is so stubborn! When he doesn't like what you tell him, he points his finger at you and says, “No, STOP IT!" It's so bad, but at the same time it is the cutest funniest thing ever! We are still working on potty training. Gregory has been doing pretty well the last couple of days. He has told us a few times, “Potty please." So we go into the bathroom and he goes number 1. We are still working on number 2. I try to watch for it because he kind of goes off and hides. I somehow ALWAYS miss it :)

Addison is growing like crazy! She pulls up on everything! She was standing up playing on this little play table of hers, eating a snack, when she just let go and stood up by herself for about 5 seconds. It threw me for a loop.  She doesn't really laugh which Gregory did all of the time, but she is so funny because she yells (or grunts). It is so cute!

Every day Gregory wants to go outside and play in the pool. Everyday when Gregory goes outside to play in the pool he picks up his empty bubble bottles, fills them up with water, and throws the water everywhere. Then REPEATS..... Gregory loves playing outside in his little pool. I always try and get him to wait until Bradley gets home from work because it it So hot, I don't really want Addison to be out there, and I sure don't want to be out there.
Gregory and Addison have been playing so well together! It is so cute! Especially when Addison will look at Gregory and smile and "grunt, yell". He just looks back at her and smiles and laughs. I always try to get him to talk back to her. When he finally does, he just says, " Addison sleep." Haha he wants her to go lay down for a nap, even if she just woke up.

This is from when Bradley went to lay down with Gregory to get him to take a nap. I went in Gregory's room to check on them, and they were both asleep. HAHA It was so sweet, they had fallen asleep watching The Incredibles. Gregory's choice movie for a Saturday afternoon nap.

A great blog later today

I haven't blogged in a few days, but that is because it's been a crazy few days. I promise a better blog later today once I get some sleep!

Tortilla Soup and an M&M

Monday Night Dinner

Dinner was great tonight! I made tortilla soup. YUMMY!!!! Then right before Bradley left he gave Gregory 3 M&Ms. This is what happened. HA. It doesn't matter that he got so messy, he had such a great time in the bath afterwards.

Beaver's Bend 2010 Part 2

Final Day
Beaver's Bend 2010

What a great weekend! 3 full days of God and friends. One more day would have definitely been nice, but I was so ready to get back and see the kids!

Our funny prom pose
We had lots of fun the last morning after breakfast taking pictures! I didn't get a group picture on my camera, but I hope to get one soon!

Me and Shannon with the bear picture over the couch originally Bradley and I were supposed to sleep on. Love these girls, Amanda and Shannon. They are awesome! I look up to them so much! My mentor and my friend :) We had such great times, with girls night Friday night and girls day Saturday. But don't ever tell Shannon to stop eating. You never know she might haved prayed by herself. HAAA

Bradley got hold of the Camera and this was what happened:

Brian and Amanda Estes

Josh and Shannon Gillespie

Lane and Lizzie Watson

Doug and Katie McCain

Matt and Jennifer Spivy

Tony and Mary Meek

Phil and Sarah Rawley

I hope next year even more people go. HAHAHA

Beaver’s Bend 2010 Part 1

The ride up was such a blast! You would have never know we are all adults. We played the funniest games! Of course, nothing started until after lunch at Bodacious BBQ. Before that we all played on our phones and talked.

Lunch at Bodacious BBQ was delicious!!
I had a BBQ Chicken Sandwich. YUMM!!!

After lunch we felt much better with food in our stomachs. We played "I have never", it was Hilarious! Then we played the game where you make a story and each person says one word. We had a person named Shaniqua Jemima Smith, and a cat named Mustache. HAHAHA

We finally got there, but had to wait because the cleaning people were still at our cabin. so we went and drove around for a while. We stopped off so people could use the restroom... Nobody would use the restroom. HA... I decided it would be nice to rest on this huge rock.

Amanda and Katie: Finals Game 1 of Spoons.

Spoons, the card/spoon game, was definitely the game of choice most of the time, besides pool upstairs. It got very violent sometimes. (Katie, HAHA) I almost won one time, but I lost. The funniest memory of Spoons was the first or second round we played, Katie and Shannon were going for the same spoon and Katie got up and yelled,"It's MY SPOON!!!" It was so funny!
game 2 of spoons, I got out the first or second round and decided to sit at the end of the table and take pictures of the rest of the game.

This is what the rest of the
game was like. Here is everyone (Amanda, Brian, Tony, and Katie) going for a spoon. You can't see Shannon. She is hiding behind Amanda.

This is right after the above round of game 2 ended. Everyone was laughing and having a great time.

This is the best picture of all. Amanda and Katie were both going for a spoon. Amanda had to have that spoon and she would do anything to get that. Even if that meant shoving Shannon off of the bench. HA!!!

Most of the guys hung out upstairs all weekend playing pool. Katie and Amanda played as well. Tony couldn't beat them for his life!

Day 2 Beaver's Bend 2010

We, the girls, spent most of day 2 downstairs in the living room just talking and having a great time. We started listening to some late 90s early 2000s music. great times! A little Britney Spears, NSync, Boys2Men. At One point Mary and Amanda did the 6th-8th grade dancing.

Bradley and I had such a great time this summer!I hope we do it again next year. We became closer with people we weren't as close with. And even closer with people we were already close with.
